Police

The North Huntingdon Township Police Department is responsible for ensuring public safety and enforcing the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the laws and ordinances of the Township of North Huntingdon.  The Police Department is comprised of 27 full time officers and 6 dispatch secretaries.

Department Goals

The Department's goal is dedicated to excellence.  It is organized around the principals of Total Quality Management.  It is committed to the fair and impartial enforcement of all laws and ordinances, a respect for fundamental human rights, and the creation of a safe environment for all who live, work and play within the township.

Communications

The Police Department maintains a 24-hour / communications center to handle all calls, emergency and non emergency.  911 rings down emergency calls but for more direct service for emergency and nonemergency calls use 724-863-8800.  Programming your phone with this direct number will provide faster service.
