ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Salary Range $55,000 to $65,000
The North Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County is currently accepting resumes for the position Engineering Technician. This position is a full-time position and a direct report to the Township Manager. The Engineering Technician performs complex supervisory, administrative, and professional engineering work, including streets, storm sewers, traffic, parks, subdivisions, land developments, and building construction. The successful candidate must be organized, effective at time management and have the ability to work independently on multiple projects with focus on work product. Minimum qualifications two-year degree (Engineering Technology); a four year degree in Civil Engineering preferred, five years of civil engineering experience and possess a valid PA Driver’s License. The successful candidate should also have progressive knowledge and experience with GIS, MS4, and stormwater management. Additional responsibility to management consulting engineers on large public works project. Past municipal experience strongly preferred but not required.
