Residents need to use the trash and recycling carts provided by WM beginning January 2022 and ensure they are placed properly at the curb for automated collection. Your collection day will remain the same as it currently is. Please see some helpful tips and a video linked below for proper cart placement. Please do not use your WM carts until your first collection day in January 2022.
1.) Place all waste in your black WM trash cart for collection
2.) Recyclables should not be bagged and placed loosely in your blue WM recycling cart
3.) Place your WM carts at the curb by 6AM the day of your collection.
4.) Cart handles should be pointed away from the street (see the graphic or video).
5.) Your cart should be placed on the opposite side of your driveway from your mailbox and not blocked by any object like cars or tree limbs.
6.) Keep at least a 3ft. distance between your recycling and trash cart
