North Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, is currently recruiting for the newly created position of Planning Technician. This position will be a part of the Planning & Zoning Department. Job duties include maintaining and expanding the existing GIS and TRAISR asset management suite. Other duties consist of tracking the Township’s MS4 program’s best management practices as well as other stormwater management related tasks. This position will assist the Planning Director and other departments as needed. Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Environmental Studies or related field.
