[ARCHIVED] North Huntingdon Township 2022 Road Improvements

The Township’s 2022 Annual Milling and Resurfacing Contract has been awarded to A. Liberoni, Inc. in the amount of $937,978.42.   Work is anticipated to begin on or about Thursday, August 18, 2022 with an expected duration of about 4 to 5 weeks.

 

The roads included in this year’s program include:

 

Bellview Drive

Parkway Drive

McCallen Street

Hilltop Park road

Brookville Road (preparation work for synthetic fiber seal coat)

Southside Road (preparation work for synthetic fiber   seal coat)

Pace Street

Westmoreland Avenue

Glass Street

Hamilton Road

Kelso Drive

Hunters Wood Lane

School Street

Pine Street

Pine Street Extension

Grape Street

Northeast Drive

Crestview Drive

Water Street 

Haywood Road (preparation work for synthetic fiber seal coat)

Crown Road

Post Street

Sarah Court

Steven Drive

Terrace Drive

Hiland Place

Virginia Avenue 

Old Jacks Run Road

Lexington Place

Henry Drive

Marybelle Drive

Logan Road

June Street

Ridinger Park Lane ( preparation work for synthetic fiber seal coat)

 

At least two days prior to the scheduled improvements on the above roads, A. Liberoni Inc. will hand deliver Resident Notification Letters to each property or business owner with instructions and specifics on the improvements.  No Parking Signs will be posted, typically between the hours of 7:00 
 A. M. to 7:00 P.M., until the improvements are completed.

 

 

A second contract has been awarded to Russell Standard Industries in the amount of $149,461.00 for the application of a bituminous fiber reinforced seal coat.  This process is earmarked for the Township’s more rural roads and is not anticipated to being until September.  The roads included in this contract include:

 

Haywood Road, Route 993 to Baker School Road

Brookville Road

Southside Road

Ridinger Park Lane

 

The preparation work, for these aforementioned roads, are included in the milling and resurfacing contract.
