Lions Park Receives Upgrades to Entrance; Ribbon Ceremony Upcoming

We have been actively upgrading Lions Park over the recent years, particularly its entrance and amenities. In 2020, we added a paved walking trail and modernized the picnic pavilion and playground equipment at the park. This year, Shane Hornicak with help from the community upgraded the bridge by adding a cable-tie bridge railing as part of his Eagle Scout project. Most recently, we completed paving the entrance to the park. We will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony in October to commemorate these upgrades to the park. Details of the ceremony will be announced at a later date.
