Residents are required to properly maintain their properties according to our ordinances, property maintenance code, and regulations. This helps preserve property values and prevent blight in our community. Listed below are some starting points for maintaining your property in the North Huntingdon community.
- Grass should be cut regularly. Grass on your property cannot exceed 12 inches in height
- No junk vehicles are allowed to be parked outside your residence. A junk vehicle is any parked vehicle that is inoperable or has an expired inspection.
- Recreational vehicles including but not limited to boats, trailers, campers, and RVs may not be parked on the street or the public right of way. Recreational vehicles may also not be parked on the grass, even if it is on your property.
- Exterior property and premises must be maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary condition. No accumulation of garbage is permitted on the exterior of the property.
Violations of our property maintenance code and regulations will result in action from our Code Enforcement Officer which may include correctional notices, fines, and liens.
